Weather forecasting is our forte
We were the first company in India to run NWP models for the Indian region, and in 1999 we were the first to provide a 7-day forecast for India. Customisable forecasts were available for the first time in India, for customers including news and television companies, ONGC for offshore drilling operations, and Nokia for forecasts to farmers.
We continue to provide village-level weather forecasts for a variety of applications. Current customers include IFFCO Kisan, Tata Consultancy Services, corporate agriculture companies, and over 5 lakh farmers in India who subscribe to our weather services.
